The Bookly Compound Services Add-on is a professional tool for WordPress that allows you to bundle multiple individual "simple" services into one single, bookable appointment.
Think of it as a "Recipe" for a complex service. It ensures that even if different staff members or specific time gaps are required for different parts of a visit, the customer only sees and books one seamless slot.
When a customer selects a Compound Service on your website, Bookly automatically searches for a time slot where all the individual components can happen in the correct order.
Sequential Booking: Combine services in a specific order (e.g., Service A $\rightarrow$ Service B $\rightarrow$ Service C).
Staff Flexibility: Each sub-service can be performed by a different staff member. For example, in a "Full Spa Day," an Assistant might do the Prep, while a Specialist does the Treatment.
Spare Time (Wait Windows): You can insert "wait" or "preparation" time between services. During this gap, the staff member is freed up in the calendar to take other appointments.
Unified UI: The client sees it as one service in the dropdown (e.g., "Full Medical Exam"), but the admin sees individual appointments for each staff member involved.
If you offer a "Post-Op Recovery" session:
Service 1 (30 mins): Muscle Warm-up (Assigned to Staff A).
Spare Time (15 mins): Client rests/Ice pack (No staff needed).
Service 2 (60 mins): Specialized Therapy (Assigned to Staff B).
Result: The client books a single 105-minute appointment. Bookly ensures Staff A is free for the first 30 mins and Staff B is free for the final 60 mins.
It is easy to confuse these three Bookly add-ons. Here is the quick breakdown:

Create Simple Services: First, create the individual services you want to include. Set them to "Private" if you don't want customers booking them individually.
Create the Compound Service: * Go to Bookly > Services and click Add Service.
Select Compound as the type.
Bundle Them: In the service settings, add your simple services in order. Add "Spare Time" between them if necessary.
Staff Logic: Choose whether the same staff member must perform all sub-services or if Bookly can mix and match based on availability.
Note: This add-on requires Bookly PRO to be installed and activated.
