The JetFormBuilder - Schedule Forms Add-on is a premium extension for the JetFormBuilder plugin that gives you precise time and date-based control over when your forms are visible and available for submission on your WordPress website.
This is an essential feature for time-sensitive campaigns, applications, and events.
The add-on allows you to easily set an open date and a close date for any form, controlling its availability on the front-end.
From Date/Time: Set the exact month, date, year, and time when the form will become visible and active for users to start filling it out.
To Date/Time: Set the exact month, date, year, and time when the form will automatically close and become unavailable for further submissions.
Flexible Scheduling: You can set only a "From Date" (form stays open indefinitely after that date) or only a "To Date" (form is available now and closes on that date).
Instead of displaying a blank space or an error, the plugin replaces the form with custom, user-friendly messages:
Pending Message: This is the message visitors see before the "From Date" has passed (e.g., "Registration opens on March 1st at 9:00 AM").
Expired Message: This is the message visitors see after the "To Date" has passed (e.g., "The application deadline has passed. Thank you for your interest!").
Shortcode Support: Both the pending and expired messages support shortcodes, allowing you to include dynamic content like countdown timers or links to related pages.
This add-on is extremely useful for:
Event Registration: Automatically open and close registration forms for conferences, webinars, or workshops.
Job or Contest Applications: Enforce strict deadlines for submissions, like job applications, scholarships, or design contests.
Time-Limited Promotions/Giveaways: Schedule forms for sweepstakes or limited-time offers to maximize urgency.
Online Assignments/Homework: Set a hard deadline for students to submit their work, ensuring fairness.
Time-Sensitive Surveys/Polls: Control the voting or feedback period for a product launch or decision-making process.
The Schedule Forms Add-on is often combined with the Limit Form Responses Add-on to give you two layers of control:
Time Limit (Schedule Forms): Closes the form when the deadline is reached.
Submission Limit (Limit Responses): Closes the form when the maximum number of entries is reached (e.g., "First 50 applicants only").
Whichever limit is reached first will automatically close the form.
